PWR Network CIC has been awarded £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver Power Pathways, a 12-month employability and confidence programme for young people in Croydon.

The project will support young people aged 16-21 who are unemployed, at risk of becoming NEET, or facing barriers such as low confidence, limited support networks and cost-of-living pressures.

Power Pathways will work with 48 young people across the year, offering structured support around confidence, communication, teamwork, workplace behaviours, CVs, applications, mock interviews and progression planning. The programme will also include guest speakers, employer engagement, and practical activities.

Adeola Onigbanjo, Founder of PWR Network CIC, said:

“We are extremely grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund and National Lottery players for supporting Power Pathways. This funding will allow us to provide young people with the confidence, structure and practical support they need to take positive steps towards work, training or education. For many young people, the issue is not a lack of ambition, but a lack of access, confidence and consistent support. Power Pathways is about helping them see a way forward and giving them the tools to move towards it.”

The project will be delivered in Croydon over 12 months, with recruitment and referral information to be shared by PWR Network CIC.

PWR Network CIC would like to thank The National Lottery Community Fund for investing in this work and supporting young people and communities to thrive.
